Get there sooner!

Updated: Nov 5, 2023

Nobody really wants the super early morning flights.

You have to leave your home at 3:30am to be at the airport an hour early to catch the 5:30am flight out and t

hen make your connecting flight to your destination. That makes for a very short night on the eve of your travel day.

But I always opt for that early flight if my schedule allows. WHY?

When you take the early flight, you get to your destination earlier! You have the rest of the day to explore, see new things and take in a good meal, and look around for mom and pop locations that are still open!

You are also ready for bed when the sun goes down and you'll sleep better because you have had a FULL Day! This makes sleeping in a new location that much easier.

Mark and I recently traveled to Kentucky and caught an early flight so we could walk the “Big Four Bridge." It's an easy walk - or you can rent little electric scooters and go across it! It was such a neat place to see and worth the early-to-bed-early-to-rise schedule!

The next time you check out your flight schedule take a second look at the earlybird time slots.

I'll see you out there!
